Percentage of 1RM Table
Turn your one-rep max into loadable training weights.
How It Works
Strength training programs are often written as percentages of your one-rep max. Instead of doing the math for each set, this table shows every percentage from 50% to 100% in 5% increments.
Each percentage is calculated against your entered 1RM and then rounded to the nearest 5 lb or 2.5 kg so the weight is actually loadable on a standard barbell. The exact calculated weight is shown in parentheses for reference.
Use this table to quickly look up working weights for any percentage-based program, whether you are doing 5/3/1, Texas Method, or your own periodization scheme.
Worked Example
Input Your 1RM on the squat is 300 lb.
Result 75% = 225 lb (exact: 225.0). 80% = 240 lb (exact: 240.0). 90% = 270 lb (exact: 270.0). All rounded to the nearest 5 lb.
